AA Covid Confident Certification
Herding Hill Camping and Glamping Site is delighted to be awarded certification from the AA and www.rated.trips.com confirming our AA Covid Confident Certification. Herding Hill Farm Camping and Glamping Site is rated as a 5 Gold Pennant Campsite. We re-opened on Saturday 4th July to tourers and glampers but our tent pitches will remain closed for the season.
The AA Covid Confident
Accreditation indicate to our guests and those thinking of booking with us that
Herding Hill Farm Camping and Glamping Site has in place the necessary risk
assessment, safety measures and staff training to reopen safely, in line with
the UK's respective government guidelines, as well as UKHospitality and
respective trade association guidelines. The Covid Confident Charter is our
commitment to update procedures and measures as guidelines change, and to
submitting to future audits as required.
All guests booking with us
receive detailed guidance on the measures we have taken and the facilities that
will not currently be available on site before they arrive. We will review the
situation at the end of July and if we can open more facilities we will. Our
five-star amenities block will be open but subject to additional cleaning and
fogging regimes and social distancing.
We encourage you to book your
stay with us with confidence. We honoured all refunds for those guests who were
unable to travel during lockdown so you can book safe in the knowledge that if
there is any future change to government guidance you will not be left out of
pocket.
We are really looking forward
to seeing you at our gorgeous campsite in Northumberland. If you’ve been before
you will know that our spacious pitches are made for social distancing and
exploring the beautiful Northumberland countryside and its dark skies. We
sincerely hope that you will benefit from a relaxing time with us.
