Introducing Our Castle Pods - Exclusively for Adults

Located in a quiet, private area with stunning views of the Northumberland countryside, our Castle Pods are a step-up in luxury from our existing Wigwam camping pods. Perfect for glamping all year round, especially glamping in winter, our Castle Pods are stylish, cosy, and perfect for romantic glamping with a hot tub.

Our glamping pods are only available to book for up to two adults. If you are looking for a family-friendly option, our Wigwam camping pods in Northumberland are a perfect choice.

The Langley and Dunstanburgh Castle Pods are also available for dog friendly glamping, allowing up to two dogs for a small cleaning charge of £25 per stay. Whilst the pods are not enclosed there is a tie ring outside so please bring a long lead. There is an enclosed dog exercise field and scenic dog walk, with a hot water dog wash at our central amenity building.

Stargazing Pods

Each of our glamping pods in Northumberland features a glass front, allowing you to fully appreciate the stunning valley views. Our Castle Pods are ideal stargazing pods, offering a prime spot for star gazing and aurora spotting under one of the darkest skies in the country.

Also, the private outdoor hot tubs provide wonderful views of the Northumberland countryside and are situated directly beneath these dark skies, making our luxury glamping pods perfect for both winter camping and stargazing during the dark sky months from October through March. We even provide plastic flutes in case you want to enjoy a bottle of fizz whilst you are in the hot tub.

Dog Friendly Glamping

For a dog friendly glamping stay, our Langley and Dunstanburgh Castle Pods are our only dog friendly options, with an additional cleaning charge of £25 per stay. We like to make your dog feel extra special upon arrival by providing a bed, welcome pack and bowls. There is also a tie ring on the decking of your Castle Pod, so it is a good idea to bring a long lead to let your dog roam the area undisturbed.

Our Northumberland Campsite features a popular dog walk and exercise area that our guests love, as well as a hot water dog wash, perfect after those long walks! Additionally, our shop offers many essentials, including dog food and dog treats from WCF’s Lakes Collection, so don’t worry if you forget to pack something. However, we do have a dog camping checklist in case you are unsure on what to bring or want to make sure you have everything.

Romantic Hot Tub Breaks

If you are looking for romantic glamping in Northumberland, our luxury glamping pods with hot tubs are the perfect countryside break for couples. Designed to sleep two adults, our Castle Pods do not allow children, ensuring a serene and intimate experience. Please note that our Northumberland campsite is family friendly, with children staying in other areas of the site.

Our 5-star amenity block has a sauna available for exclusive hire, perfect for a romantic hot tub break.

These stylish and cosy glamping pods are ideal for adults seeking a luxury getaway and can be enjoyed year-round. They provide a perfect setting to reconnect with each other. They are also available for a luxurious Christmas glamping retreat.

Our Castle Pods are perfect if you are celebrating a special occasion, and we can even decorate the glamping pods in advance of your arrival on request. We offer additional romantic glamping upsells such as champagne, flowers and chocolates which can be put in your Castle Pod ahead of your arrival and our wardens are happy to provide whatever help they can to make your Castle Pod stay as special as possible.

Glamping with all the essentials

Our glamping pods are equipped with a fully fitted kitchenette, including a sink, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, and induction hob, making it easy for you to feel at home and prepare delicious meals. Cutlery, crockery, glasses, and pans are all provided.

All you need to bring are food and drink, clothes, a swimming costume for the hot tub, reading materials, and some board games for some old-fashioned fun!
