There are multiple health
benefits of sitting in a hot tub in addition to relaxation within a stress-free
environment with no mobile technology to distract your thoughts.
- The heat from the hot tub will release endorphins around your body which will help you feel happier in yourself.
- Increased circulation happens as the heat causes your heart to beat faster, and your blood vessels to widen. This can help with muscle soreness, joint movement and arthritis. Improved circulation, faster metabolism and a greater heartbeat also can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and help with weight loss, alongside regular exercise and healthy eating.
- And if you share your Herding Hill Farm hot tub with friends or family, it’s a fabulous way to socialise and unwind.
Discover more about Roman hot tubs (and Roman history in general) during your stay at Herding Hill Farm. You’ll be spoilt for choice with many of the key roman sites and attractions within a 15-minute drive from our campsite, including Vindolanda, the Roman Army Museum, Birdoswald, Housesteads and Chesters Roman Fort and Museum. Hadrian's Wall itself and the magnificent Cawfields Quarry is just a short walk from our Hadrian's Wall campsite.
